buying new speakers

i am just gonna get new speakers. i really dont want to mess w/ components so i am just buying coaxials. i have about 100 to spend now but i found both pairs i would like to buy for under 100. i have 170x2 available for powering them.

Alpines

unless anyone knows of anything else that i can get for under 100. im kind of leaning towards the alpines because they can handle the extra power. i need some convincing one way or the other. i have heard the alpines at bestbuy and sound real good to me but i have a lot of faith in kicker after putting in quite a few subs, so i know they would probly do good too. thanks.

I would go with the alpines , but I sure I am partial. I run the type S as rear fill and have always been happy with them. I understand those type R's have a little better bass response.

I vote for these JBL's but if I had to pick I would go with the Kickers.

which ones would get louder....those jbl dont look bad as far as im concerned. i really want something thats just real loud too. i have plent of power to power whatever kind of coaxials i could buy.

anyone know, or have much experience with the jbls??? i never really look at jbl but the gto doesnt look bad and neither does the power serries. and i was still wondering if anyone knew whether or not its last years power serries cause cosmectically they look almost identical if not identical. and really im only looking for coaxials. i dont want to mess w/ components.
