i plan on spending about 150-200 on 1 sub. i was thinkign maybe an L7 or a cvx. i have a mono amp that puts out 800 watts rms@ 2 ohms and 1000 watts rms at 1ohm. perhaps alpine?

there are a few good threads going on rite now on the l7 and cvx and input from people who have used them and are currently using these driver..

What brand of amplifier? The L7s and CVX are fairly power hungry subs. For an alpine to put out that much power, you are going to spend a lot of money on those, Alpines are pricey, good but pricey. Look into something like Hifonics.

type r , kicker cvx, tc 1000, dd 1500 are ones i'd recommend in that price range
