buying 3 tv's and a ps3 help needed

what's the price range? wanted size? also what source unit did he use on the Sony to determine he didn't like the picture?

i think he wants to stay below 1k each, hes looking at 37-42". Pretty sure hes still using comcast. He said it seemed like it would skip frames.

Like the player would be at half court then hes at the 3pt line. I dont know if it was actually that bad, but thats how he explained it to me when i talked to him earlier today.

Plasma TV's don't really have the issues people claim they do anymore. They still offer the best picture quality and the blackest blacks... and I've gamed the hell out of mine after I broke it in for a bit with a disc designed to tone down new plasma TVs. It does retain an image for a few minutes after gaming but after that it is fine, looks as good as it did 2 years ago honestly.

That said, most people are going to tell you that plasma TVs will burn in, dim over time, etc.

Most people game on LCD TV's, but you give up a bit of picture quality when compared to a good plasma.

im not sure if he tested it on his ps3 or not. But sports are his main thing, and he wasnt impressed. Ill ask him what he was using when he tested he might have been using a comcast basic cable box instead of the hd one.

go with a nice 42" panasonic plasma. deep blacks and bright colors with great panel life.
