I'm all about spending billions on war though. Spend those billions on war and let all those fukkers on welfare suffer. Well you are right on ONE thing. My first two posts were about politics. Cuz, I never saw it fit to post in the other areas of the forum. Maybe I should post in every other thread so my post count will read in the thousands, then people will listen to me. Nothing stood out to me on these forums. THIS did. Politics happen to be something I know/care a LOT about. Something I have gone to COLLEGE for. So, please - prove me wrong.

-Assistive Technology

-Vocational Education

-Adult Education

-Literacy Program for Youth Offenders

-Civic Education

But, of course, the Defense budget went up, again- 7% this year. 8% increase in Homeland Security spending.

After all, what would we do if we didn't spend ~4 billion on the 'Future Combat System'????

Well I still know of many Adult Education schoosl here in Delaware as well as MANY Vocational schools. None of which do you have to pay anything over 40 bucks to get into. I had a lot of friends goto them back in High School and know for a fact that every single one of those schools is still running. I'm not saying you are wrong because I do know that those were his proposed cuts as far as Education goes, I am just saying that those schools and programs that were supposably "cut" are still running, and will still be running for a long time.

I need to clear something up, I guess. I'm not saying Bush is the greatest president ever. He has made mistakes - see Snova's last post. But, he has been a much better pres. then some of the others we have had in my lifetime.
