The redneck comments were pretty funny. I'm in Ga and I noticed during election time that if I had a dollar for every Bush sign in a doublewide's yard, I could buy the internet. Most people around here didn't care what he did or how stupid he is as long as he was bombing somebody and was against queers getting married. Funny, most of his policies have caused many of them to move to singlewides. They're too stupid to realize it.
Bad thing is the rep. Gov of Ga has done an even worse job than Bush. I used to be non-partisan and voted for whoever I thought was the best candidate but I am leaning strongly towards a all democratic ticket in the future, minus the guys like Jesse Jackson

As much as I hate the right wing you have to tip your hat at their intelligence level. They know to win (steal) an election. Karl Rove albeit is the anti-christ but he is very GOOD at manipulating stupid people. Him and the rest of the right wing neocons use what are known as "wedge issues" to win both elections. There are many but the 3 main issues that were used in this past elections were the following:

1 - Gun Control

2 - Gay Marriage

3 - Abortion

And when you have people that do NOT look into things very deep they listen for a candidate to tell them what they want to hear and then vote for them. GW said alot of things about these 3 issues and won alot of votes because of it. If the US in general had half a brain and REALLY cared about making an educated vote or even voted at all we would NOT have this regime in office or ever have them in office again. Rich folks and corporations are the only people that benefit having republicans in office. And the less fortuante or non-wealthy americans definintely out number them.
