I'm going to be building my SPL box this week after i find my resonance frequency. My question is, when i tune the box 5 hz below the resonance frequency, what do i burp it at during the competition? Thanks

They usually give you 2 runs back-back

Do a low volume sweep if you want the first run...than ask what the peak freq was than burp it full tilt on that note.

But my box was tuned to 32hz and it peaked at 35-36hz

if my box is big, and theres only like a 6 inch gap between the sub and the actual rear of the trunk, would i gain more spl by facing the box towards the front of the car?

what kinda car...we found better results in my friends Cavy facing it forwards and pushin it all the way to the rear, than facing it to the rear
