Just because you haven't heard of them, doesn't mean they aren't "well known".

And even if they aren't well know, what does that change? Does it make them "less" adequate because every single person on the planet hasn't heard their name? Hell, most people on this forum run products from the "internet" companies for that exact reason....they aren't well known.

In home audio; that's not expensive. That's not even close to expensive. When you start paying upwards of $10k-$20k for a sub system...that's starting to get expensive. And, given the bucking magnet on the rear of the sub, you can tell it was targeted at the home audio crowd.

Plus, if their claim that it compares to $3000 sub systems is correct, how is it expensive? Hell, I'd consider $3000 performance for $400 + an amp a pretty good bargin.

Again, $400 ain't that expensive for a home audio sub...especially if it does indeed compare to higher priced systems.

And shame on all these fools running RE, Adire, IA, Soundsplinter, Ascendant, etc. Since, going by your word, all these products must be crappy and overpriced since the brands aren't "well known" to the general public...even to most car audio enthusiasts.

You just think anything that doesn't have a "PG" label on it somewhere is overpriced and/or no-name crap.

First off I never said a company cant be good just if it doesnt come with a pg lable on it, so I dont know where you got off saying that. Secondly I would consider re a pretty well known company. Not like jl well known or anything, but still respectible. I guess if I was thinking of high end home equipment I would think of macintolsh, definitive, not bully coming out and saying they compete with the best. NO disrespect to Bully, like i said maybe they make good speaker, just nobody i know has heard of them.

Well for 300 bucs Ide expect it to handle 2 or even 3 times the power,

Yes ive heard of them.

When i said that i was basing it off a car audio driver. 300 bucs for a 400 watt woofer that isnt well known in car audio. Thats all i was saying. I know their is expensive equipment in home audio, hell I run harman kardon amps at the house.

Who cares how much power a sub can or can't handle. What's the point? If it works off 300 watts, why would you need more, just because it can TAKE more? What's the benefit? Why stress the system and components if it's not necessary?
