it says on the manuel these subs work best sealed =-\

whys everyone hatin on my seal LUV!!

L7's sealed unless in a clamshell or 4th order bandpass. Is like blessing a bird with flight only to put it in a 1x1 cage....

i think once i get the box 100% sealed and thump it...

its gunna sound diff then mdf...

but gunna pump serious lows from down under...

serous bass in everyone chest too...

Awesome idea, but a giant pain in the *** to make right.

Do not run L7's on a 4 channel amp. Monoblock from good company stable at 1 ohm=your friend

Crazy question.....is this bulletproof glass real glass? Or just a thick polymer type material? Assuming, for an instance, that it is glass...hows everything gonna attach together? Heck, even if its the polymer type deal, how are ya gonna seal everything up?

if you have a properly designed and sealed enclosure it shouldnt play any lower than the glass. although it may resonate a little differently...

its real bullet/proof glass but its like the shit u see at the gasstation.

it seems kinda like a plastic material, it wont shatter like glass,

and for me to make my box, i have to have a fine edge blade to cut the glass to stop chipping...

and i have to drill every screw hole bfore i screw it in...

when i finish the box i will post up wether it pounds harder or not, im pretty sure it will though its bullet proof glass dude, no dumb mdf can take a bullet for you now can it =-)
