Built my box today.

Finally built my bandpass today. Its almost done. Its 6.00 Ft^3 tuned to 32 Hz, built according to Death By bass' calculations. Made my ports out of some 4" PVC glued it up today so tommorow i should be all set.

Well I finished it up today, not impressed to say the least. I think im gonna tear it apart and salvage what I can. Im either gonna build a sealed or ported box. What do you guys think would be better for two 12 W/0's? Oh well I guess thats how you learn.

how did it sound ouput wise

and did it hit the lows decent

did it do anything besides waste your time

heres a tip

if u plan on over powering your subs u should have made the sealed chambers smaller

Maybe you were expecting too much from those drivers? Have you used them previously?

And the type of enclosure of course depends on what kind of results you are looking for. Is this enclosure not loud enough? SQ ****? Whats the problem?

100 litres sealed, 50 litres tuned to 60Hz?

when tuning a bandpass box u suppose to tune the box in the middle of the bandwidth

so 60hz is fine

his bndwidth allows him to still go low not as low as a bandpass tuned to 40hz but low enough to play late night tip and have flexing

SQ wise it sounded good. I just expected it to be louder. No im not blaming it on you Death by Bass, but i thought you told me it was tuned to 32 Hz? Its doesnt sound bad, but for the amount of space it takes up its just not worth it. I think im just gonna buld a sealed box.
