Building Up a New System in 300ZX, Need Help/Mucho Recommendations!

Hi,

I basically just joined and I'm a total noob at this stuff. I drive a Nissan 300zx, pretty small car and here's what I'm planning to get:

1. 6 - 1/2" Component Speakers (Just ordered a set of Alpine SPX-177R yesterday...)

2. Any Speakers for the rear, they're just fill sound right so it doesn't have to be too good?

3. 2 Smaller/mid sized amps

4. One 10" or 12" Sub (not sure if I should do 10" or 12" what do you think?)

5. HU around the 200 dollar mark

So I already have the component speaker part taken care of... now I just need help in choosing a Head Unit. I originally wanted an Alpine CDA9856, but someone told me it lacks features (plus it lights up green which I think is ugly)... so now I'm looking at the Pioneer Premier 680. No idea if this Pioneer is good or not, has about the same features as the Alpine one. What's a recommendable HU?

Next, what kind of Wires should I get to connect everything? Should I go with Monster Cables and what gauge? Also where do I buy this for cheap? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

AMP: What's a recommendable Amp for my setup? I want to have 2 amps because of the type of sub and amp box I want to build... (Sub in the middle and amps on the side). I heard Rockford Fosgate makes good amps, any recommendations?

For the Sub I plan on getting either a 10" or 12" (which size is good for a 300zx?) JL w3v3.

LASTLY! When I have everything I need and I start the wiring process, I should basically take out all my interior trim to do this right?

TO SUM IT ALL UP: I'm basically looking for a clear, crisp sounding system that has some power but not a lot, I'm not a decibel-junkie. I also don't have a very high budget either
