i had a question about doing the carpet and how would i hide the seems? any tips or tricks i should know?

Not too bad. As for the carpeting, Id get some quality spray adhesive and begin with the carpet on a large table so that you can roll the enclosure to carpet it.

Start with the bottom, back edge and roll the enclosure on the carpet to the front next and so on until you get back to that first edge and take a razor and run it along that back, bottom edge of the box to cut it cleanly...then the sides you can cut squares a bit larger than the sides of the box and trim the excess in the same manor to keep a fairly clean seam

A suggestion for the port though, that carpet that kinda sticks out, just take a lighter to it. The heat will make the carpet back off and you can get a nice clean finish. Just don't actually put the lighter on the carpet (it will ignite), you just want to get it close so the heat melts the carpet back.
