Building first box

I am going to be building my first box. Im preety much a newbie but i think i can follow moe lesters plans. Its a 3.0@35hz. Its going to be for 1 12" 06 L7. I just want some advice on building. Is there anything i need to no. I no how to cut the wood to the right specs. Is there anything i need to no about be4 like sub displacement or anything just feel free to leave HELPFUL input plz no smart *** remarks. Thnxx mark

if u are really interested and want step by step dvd format instructions, ill be happy to sell you the DVD that i bought, that helped me to build my own boxes. The dvd is a professional built, by these experts off http://www.caraudiohelp.com. You will learn all the tools you will need to perform your own enclosure, carpeting the enclosure, designing your own enclosure through WinISD. Sorrry dont have any extra money. Im not gonna carpet so dont need to no how to do that. How should i put wood together. Nails screws glue? I want to build so i no how in the future.

use drywall screws,wood glue and silicone on all the joints.also make sure you predrill your holes so the wood doesn't split.

Glue the boards together, then screw them to hold it while it drys. Leave the screws in, and silicone all the seems of the box.

Sub displacement will effect tunning, but not enough to worry about.

I use finishing nails to hold the box together while the glue set and then I added in the screws after, then went to the silicon. Good luck. Measure 2 or more times and cut once, carefully and slowly. No need to do it twice.

ya thanx for the good luck i think ill be allright ive built other things with wood. Just never built a box. If i follow moe lesters plans then i think ill be allright. Every1 has there First box at 1 time and it looks like its gonna be my time for my first box. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
