Building box, component speaker questions..

So I am fiberglassing a box, and wanted to know, when putting in a regular door speaker, should I build a chamber for it? Or should I just cut out a whole and have it in open space?

Obviously the subs are going to have their own seperate chambers, but I want regular speakers on the outter front of the box...
