Allright guys, I'm going to jump into the street stock A competition and wanted to get ya'lls opinions on which sub/amp combo would work best for it. I may also do some bass racing, but I want to concentrate on the dB drag for now. My car is a 98 Eclipse. for now, I'm not pulling the back seat out, so the sub will have the entire trunk. I was thinking of getting an RD heavyweight sub and RD 3250.1 as my setup. Would that be a good combo, or can ya'll give me some other ideas (maybe an RE MT?). Thanks in advance!

Number one Go and read the rules for both Street A and street stock A. That would be your first thing to do. That way you can see what you can buy and run with.

I did read the rules. It references the "approved product list" but doesn't give the list, nor can I find it on their website. The rules on the webpage are subjective. What constitutes commerical grade and retail establishments?

How many threads did you start on this subject lol. The approved list is on the forum witch is what the guy said above me said is down. Odd the site goes down alot like that. But you didnt say if it was street a or street stock a.

I started another thread about this, but it was in the wrong section. I apologize for that. I did say street stock A in the OP (& thread title), but it's no biggie. I think I may shoot for street B (unless I get a 12", then street A), though, since the gear I'm looking at isn't legal. Thanks for the link, and of course it's just my luck the site was down.

The sites back up. And for street STOCK A nothin you have is legal in that class. And street A you wouldnt have much luck with that class unless you are hitting over 155dbs thats if you wanna win finals along those lines.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and build a street stock setup. I need to start my planning and decide what equipment to go with. Thanks guys!
