Building a Ported Box, Need some advice

I'm building a ported box for a pair of 10" Type-E s ( I know not the best for a ported box but I want to try my hand at it)

I'll be using plans from this box calc

Any suggestions on how big to make it? I was thinking 3ft^3 after displacement.

What should I tune to ? Thinking 35 hz, I listen to all type of music.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

My only suggestion is to build it to the manufacturer's specs. I have a 2.1cu.ft. box tuned to 30hz for my single Xtant 12".

Lol, nevermind about the manufacturer's specs, then. The 1.5 cu.ft. per sub sounds pretty good. Anywhere in the mid to lower 30s would be good tuning for a 10" sub.

i have a 12" type e ported in 1.5 cubes @ 26hz, it sounds good to me

Well I'm gonna try it. I have nothing to lose, except for a few hours of work. If I don't like it I can use the rest of the sheet for a sealed box.

Nuac, How many watts to it?

I have 400 going to the pair
