Building a box with space constraints...

Alright, I am wanting to build a box to go between the front seats of my 2001 Dodge Dakota... I don't have a whole lot of room to work with so my question is do I build the most I can and find a sub to match the box or vise versa? I'm also debating doing it in fiberglass or MDF.. I would really like to keep the box the same size or *slightly* bigger than my stock console... Will this be plenty to get a couple 10's hitting or maybe just one?

Thanks!

one 10. .8 sealed is good for most 10's
(off topic: That border control pic in your sig cracks me up lol)

Ya, I really want the hardest pounding 10's I can get (unless there are some 8's that will do better)... I was thinking of the Type R's.. I'm not exactly sure how much space is there but I'm sure it's well over .8cu. ft.
