budget system type r or l5

im making a budget system for my 1992 civic hatch EG

i was thinking hifonics 1200d for amp

and either 12" type r in a 3 cubic ft box tuned to 34 hz

or an l5 (havent thought of box specs)

but im going for 80% SPL and 20% SQ

what should i get??

I would go for the L5. I had L5's myself and i liked the sound alot better than the type r's but thats just me. And build your own box.
