budget subs and amp

i have 450 to spend on subs and a n amp SHIPPED. but i already have all the wiring done from previous subs. i want to get something that will blow away my friend with his 2 sony 15", and 450 rms to each. Can i do it?

Just get one sub. An RE sub and a budget amp (jbl, profile, etc...) should do the trick. You will have to build a box on top of that, but it should kick the living poop out of any sony, or any 10 sonys for that matter.

Total 345 and one loud *** system. You can even put quite a bit more power in it if you want. 55 left over for a box and other toys.
