Does your deck allow for a active setup? I'm not familiar with that deck, so I'm guessing not. No matter, for around 160 bucks you should be able to get a good quality sounding set of components from ebay.

Or for a step up, you can always get a set of Rainbows SLC's for around 230 or so from forum members like 6spd.

This is all of course granted you are planing on doing your install to a good caliber and be deadening your car well. If your having problems with mounting dept, cut a ring of wood, and mount it to your speaker opening. Non-drying molding clay can be used to seal around the outside of the ring, if it doesnt sit flush. Mount your speaker to that.

yeah, i ran into some problems which have caused me to put off doing the install for awhile....which is hard seeing as I got the HU and amp and sub just sitting there staring at me...but i am planning on getting some comps off of ebay when the time is right...i was looking @ the Polk DB6500 or whatever the lower model is....also the Infinity Reference line....but seeing as the momos and kappas are still pretty cheap, i might consider those also...would 50 W RMS be enough for those you listed?

I would look for a set with a higher efficiency, say around 92db compared to 89db, etc. It will take less power with a 92db set to come out.

if you entertain the thought of not using comps and depending on the space you have to mount you might want to look into some of the boston acoustics coax .like the older fx6 can be had cheap online around $100 or the nx 67 for around $120.

will totally whup on the blaus. i have the fx6 in my other car and they sound great .
