budget power at 4 ohms 800w or higher

im trying to find an amp that does 800W or more at 4 ohms. i have been looking around and it seems like the only way to get power at 4 ohms without having to get a 3500W amp is to get a beefy 2ch amp and run it bridged.

im trying to get the most power i can for less than 180.00 or trade a ZX-750.1 for it. so far i havent had much luck finding an amp that does more than 800W bridged. having the amp be stable bridged at 2 ohms would be a serious plus as well, but i really just need more than 500W.

anyone have any sugestions at what companies to look for/avoid? dont mind used, but i want to do some research before i decide what to buy.

hmm.. find a good 4 channel to trade and i will trade you my us acoustics usx 600. its a 2 channel thatt is rated at 600rms @ 4 ohm bridged, but i have gotten 1000 watts at 2 ohm bridged, and 800 at 4 ohm bridged. its designed by ZED.

well i have an Autotek MM 1400.4 im looking to sell. just havent listed it on here yet. whats your definition of "good 4-channel"

Look into JBL, or JL, there amps usually have pretty high 4 ohm power, my jbl gto 2400.1 give 1750 rms at 4ohm, and the jl slash series keeps stable rms out put from 4ohm to 1.5 ohm

problem is the slash is out of my budget ATM. i was looking at the Xenon 1200.1 and Slash 1200/1. plus shasles ans Xenons are power hogs. id like something that isnt so harsh on my electrical.

Oh yea, its really nice, I never run any sub below 4 ohms anyways. Don't be afraid to invest in a nice amp and run the ohms high, the higher the ohm, the less stress it puts on the amp and the cleaner the power, and they will last forever since you aren't stressing it. I currently have mine running at 6ohm clamped at 1123 rms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

this is true. i find myself turning down the bass unless its to dubstep/rap. daily drive a 145. so nothing extravagant.

i have a nice tight gap RF oem'd MBquart motor that im going to build into a Sq sub down the line. just need to find a tool to fish out the copper out of the gap from blowing it intentionally on 2.5k //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif

lol, I love blowing subs. Im going to try and get some tc parts and build a nice woofer myself, or buy an already made one, either way still an awesome sq sub!
