Scored an Alpine 3555

Hi,

Just wondering if an Alpine 3555 for $40 is considered a good deal? I installed too many of these to count back in the day as an installer and always liked them. I never really got to see what they were made of with respect to SQ because they were for customers.

I will be trying this one out on mids and mid bass with the intention of good SQ. I hope it will perform good for this application.

Any comments?

Thats a fair price. They go for 50-75 on ebay.

I loved my 53 and 55. The only problem I had is they would get hot. Wish I still had them

Good score, I loved the one I had back in the day and yes they do have great sq.
