Budget daily questions

Posted around a bit but still trying to decide. Ill be dropping in the area of 300 on a sub, hooked up to my Sundown 1200d.

Plan on tuning the subs around 32hz in a custom box, and I listen to mostly hiphop with some deathmetal from time to time.

I know theres lots of choices in this range around 1-1.5k rms.

Im currently looking at a few different SQL type subs:

Fi BL

IA Dr

RE SX/X

DD of some sort

DC lvl 4

Or even a SSA Icon

Ill be grabbing either a 12 or a 15 depending on the sub. I can fit 3cu or a bit more no problem in my trunk.

I know the best answer is 'go listen to them' but I live in BFE (bum **** egypt) and no one here knows who any of the above brands are. Ive had a hard time finding much information on the DR and newer REs (aside from people saying theyve changed) and the DDs are a maze considering theres lots of different models and pretty wide spread info.

I listed the newer SXX as it can be had pretty cheap and itll go pretty low.

no but i am just a customer of them, call up and talk to roy or tony, they are great guys, these subs are actually the subs they used, every piece of equipment in my car from the highs to lows my 4 channel amps are from cadence except for my eclipse cd5030, i seen someone with these subs 2 12s hit 168 there ****ing loud, won first place for loudest 2 sub setup
