150 db for 600 buckaroos. Not gona happen...1300-1500 ish should be a good idea of what to spend to hit 150. Thats if you find some good deals...

Like i said...seemed far fetched...that is fine...but the thing is if i put a wall in there and hit like 145....i will most likly get stomped at comps around here...if i did them below windowline...with like 4 or 6 12"s then i might stand a chance at 145...i dont know i just konw what i got isnt loud enough for me...but i am a poor highschool kid who works at walmart...so my options are limited haha...but uh....

Maybe lets change this a little bit...What could/should i get for 600-800 amps and subs...that will be respectably loud and give me a chance at a comp..

the issue I see here is assigning yourself a dB goal with such a limited budget and really limited gear.

that is your mistake... you best bet is to get that out of your mind and just do what you're going to do with what you have

Mkay..but just going with what i got is eating my money...i had a little shitty ported box and a P3001 amp..that is 300.1 mono block rockford...and i hit 139.0 at comp, built a new ported box, bigger, supposed to hit way louder...and put the KX1200.1 on them and i got a 139.6....not very happy...two P3's and a 1200W mono block should hit more than that shouldnt it?...running 1 ohm in a hatchback..

Well 302 block...so yeah when it is done will be bigger tahn 302 but it is called a 302 Stroker...and first motor actully going into it is a 302 out of a bronco...just to get motor mounts,******, all that lined up...but i still need a ****** =\ looking for wrecked stangs but they all want a Gajillion dollars and i want 1 thing haha...not even going to do 5 bolt wheels until i get stroker in it

Do you just enjoy hating on me? like i said, was not cranking thru town, was just casually listening, and yeah i want to hit 150, for comps, not for driving thru town. and i will have you know, have had only 1 ticket in 3.5 yrs of driving and that was this stereo ticket...which i am actully going to court for so...if you actully ment G/l with build...thanks...but i would appreciate not being slammed over a thread.

And like stated few posts ago and at first post...I know it is far-fetched and probably not going to happen on a limited budget like mine...i am honestly just aiming for a better system to compete with...i dont care, if i could make (2) 12"s hit low to mid 140's i would...which i thought i could do in this wreck of a car...but i guess not...unless im just too stupid to figure out what i am doing wrong..

how about instead of trying to make that pinto a drag car with your 302 and crap,put that money into your system.150 DB isnt exactly easy to do,so put your time and money there if you want to do it so bad.

How about you read what i said in multiple posts....I KNOW IT IS FAR-FETCHED for my BUDGET...i dont need 150db that bad, jsut a very good goal, as far as what i do to my motor, i will put just as much money into the current motor as i will in 302, cuz current one has rod going out, its an original motor from 74, its shit. and not worth time or money to rebuild a 2.3L...and as previous stated, i am just looking to hit a minumum of low-mid 140s..but if that is all i am hitting, dont want a wall or to be too high class that those numbers will blow
