budget amp

i need help with finding an amp. i need to know where i could find an amp that is about $75 and pushes around 400 watts. i need this thing to also be bridgable. like i always say: any input is more than welcome so please help me!!!!! thanks in advance

well for that you could get. a Lanzar Vibe 228 at ikesound.com is 79 shipped...

2 x 150 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms

2 x 300 Watts Max at 4 Ohms

1 x 600 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged (that would be 300X1 Rms)

2 x 200 Watts at 2 Ohms

or come on save a week or two.. you can do better with $50 more..

dont listen to him. unless you are in a serious dire need of an amp, dont buy profile. they are decent amps, dont get me wrong, but from what i hear they lose about 1/2 their power afetr about 6 months of use

i would say save up a little more and buy a jbl:cheap and good amp

if you are willing to sacrafice some power ride_red36 has a crossfire 100x 2 amp that is a decent amp. we hooked it to his audiobahns in a bandpass and it made it hit pretty good and a pioneer 200 watt amp wouldnt even make them move

Yes listen to him, I say look at profile. I have one and my friend also has one hooked up to 2 RF punch z's and they still hit as hard as they did when he first got them and their over 3 years old now. Plus they were also used. The single 440 sx he has pushing them has already blown one of the subs from overexcursion by feedin it too much power continuously. They might lose power over time if they are abused and ran into clipping all the time but the only reason they will go then is because the mosfets overheat and burn out and cant pass as much current as it used to. If they are not abused then they are extremely good amps for the money but then again any amp will perform like new as long as it is not abused wont they? I say go with profile if you can. Other than US Acoustics you cant get a better amp for the price I dont think, and JBL's amps dont sell as cheap as Profile's amps new, even on Ebay. Like I said he didnt know what he was doing, cranked the gains up, and burned the MOSFETS out over about 6 months of abuse

Yes there are better, but as you guessed they cost much more. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Profile, you can ask Gsteg about it, he has had the same amp I have for I think he told me about a year now and hasnt had any problems out of it. And they DONT lose their power over time either. They only way an amp can lose power is if it is ran into clipping very often. That is called abuse, any amp will lose power if abused that way. I dont know what you have against Profile ChooChooSS but there is nothing wrong with profile and I may consider buyin a set of their components for rear fill after I get my Primary setup done. go with profile that will keep you happy ..cmon how can they lose power over 6 months thats bull the mosfets willl blow before that happens (asuming its not from clipping).

Yes even tho I am a firm believer of Profile, US Acoustics is a tad bit better. Better build quality, and well bulletproof as some would say. Allthough they are a lil bit higher priced than Profile its not very much. In fact I compared the two and to get the same output in watts, US Acoustics averages out to about 5-10 dollars more than Profile.

and i HAVE heard it from more than one person that they will lose some their power over about 6 months, im not sayin they do im simply saying i have heard that from more than one person, whether they were abused or not

Well im not ryin to be an a$$hole its just that I hate it when someone disses Profile cuz they are such a good company.
