Budget amp for SLCs

I have a set of SLC65s and SL coax speakers and need a 4 channel to power them. I was looking at the hifonics Z4400 since it is a good deal, and I really cannot afford an expensive amp. Just looking for something that will work and is not huge. Any suggestions would be great. THanks!

I'm not sure what price you found for the Hifonics, but 55wX4 isn't that hard to come by. The most expensive one here is $160.

if your looking into hifonics why dont you look into autotek ss or powerbass asa series amps on ebay.you can pick them up cheap and imo are better quality

Not to hijack this thread ( 1st time poster ) but what do you guys think of the Volfenhag line?? I was looking at millionbuy.com for some of the amps that previous posters had linked to and found this brand.

I have a 2002 1500 HD and want to keep my stock head unit. I've installed after market speakers in all four doors ( 6.5" ) and just want a little more power to clean up the sound.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thaks for the reply. Since I'll be using my stock headunit I would like something that has speaker level inputs. It makes the installation easier,just having to tap into speaker wires,verses running LOC's. Any ideas??

comes with a line out converter - just hooks into your rear speaker lines and RCA input to your amp.

there's a dude on ebay sells a ton of the stuff refurb, bought a ton of amps from him

400.4 does 100x4@4ohm and there's less powerful ones... under 100 bucks and make above rated power

Thanks Guys. I'll check both options out. I'm laid up for the next 2 months or so, Sooooo I'll have plenty of internet time ahead of me.

On that profile amp does it come with the pre-terminated RCA or is that something that I will need to fabricate??
