Budget 2000W amp

I am purchasing 4 SSA DCON 12" subs and need an amp that can drive them all at at least 400w a piece. I won't spend more that $300 on an amp unless I have very good reason to.

I have the american bass vfl 4480. It sells new for around 270 shipped. Its pretty efficient and puts out power all day. Its rated at 2200 but its probably more like 1600- 1800 watts. Its one of the better amps for the price.

I'd buy the used crescendo bc 2000 in the amplifier classifieds.$250+ shipping it's a solid 2k amp with a reliable Korean board.

I remember when those BC2000s first came out. They where $250 new

skip out on the vfl 4480.1 hybrids. MASSIVE quality control issues with those amps. dont risk getting a lemon. Too many people got fked over by that amp already i'd trust audiopipe/hifonic's reliability more than the vfl hybrids. Try to get a used NORMAL vfl amp, those are the good korean ones.

Audiopipe APCL3000 if you dont find a Korean amp. Right at 300 bucks and only puts out 2k clean. Give or take.
