as many have said the kicker amps are fine, and actually are better than a lot of amps out there. the FSD or C2 are the amps id buy.

Maxxsonics is not junk. It might be overrated but they are as quality as some of the brands that many people here love. Are you saying you want to spend 500? 700? There are tons of 2500 watt amps out there for around 500 dollars

The kicker amps are solid.... the subs......... not so much....

This is the amp i have. Very stout and solid amp, Korean board. Half ohm daily budget amp. I run mine .5 ohm daily and runs strong, with Stock Alt and 1 extra Deka g31 AGM. Never over heated or protected while ive had it. Rated 3000 rms @ .5ohm and 2500 @ 1 ohm
