Buddies new Nissan Murano setup

Not feeling it either. Looks like a clusterphuc. Once you start screwing amplifiers to the factory trim panels you're halfway to failure. Any decent installer could have made twice as much noise with half the equipment in a proper install (box).

Nice equipment though.

Try just 3 of those 10's in 1 ported box. hide the amps and the electrical under the false floor. Then sell the extra equipment to recoup costs.

.....out of 10

meh, I think it's just ok. Hide the batts and amps better, lose the side panel amps, and one box for the subs. Soooooo I gues what I'm sayin is start over. don't mean to be a dick though.

Edit: I like how the H/U and all that stuff is stealth in the center console.

it definately could be cleaner.. i kinda like the minimalist approach with wiring and such.. too much seen doesnt bode well with an install.. kinda detracts the attention from the meat of the system...

great choice in equipment tho.. yer friend has good taste... but he needs to be consistant.. the HU hidden in the console doesnt fit with the whole rear of the truck being scattered with a debris field of wires, batteries and square boxes...

anyways.. i say about a 6.5 out of 10

i am a little concerned with the rear 2 subs.. are they IB by chance? i didnt think any FI sub was capable of that kind of application

also... that box has a strange lip to it.. almost looks like a very short downfire box.. was that the original purpose but realized the FI's had large surrounds and required more clearance? anyways.. i am done with my rant

6 pdx 1000.1's

4 Fully loaded Fi's, don't remember the series I believe Q's, could be wrong

I just noticed this. I assumed at least one of these amplifiers was for the front stage. How is this wired?

PDX 1000.1:

I don't like it. First of all I don't like it that he took up all his cargo area to display some amps. That was dumb - now he just has to put all his groceries and stuff he has to take places on his back seats. Also, all subs should be in the same chamber facing the same way in my opinion. It doesn't make any sense to me to put 2 in a box and 2 in the floor.

But great equipment and it might have seemed like a good idea, but throw the subs in one box, build a nice amp rack, and save some cargo space.

The man has serious cash and was already planning on using the pdx's, he was going to run 4 JL 12w3 until I convinced him of the Fi's. The floor is not the original and has been modified a lot to fit the subs. He does have the factory floor to change back to if needed. Hes out in the Carribian so most of his stuff has to be crate shipped from FL.

Hes also running 2 sets on Boston Pro60's, the JL clean sweep and a few other shit. This is just his show car.

I agree, could have much better use of space, subs all in one box, amps along sides and batteries/wires hidden. Very nice equipment though. Like the stealth mounting of the eq and h/u unit.

What a waste of a new car. I wouldve at least try to make it stealth.
agreed

i would have done the audio control lc6 or lc7

or the jl cleansweep

to do an oem intergration...

why are there two epicenters?
my thoughts exactly...from the looks of the pic..2 epicenters and a bass knob..now thats wat u call easy clippings...lol

but he might blow the sub from over excurtion be4 u clips the amps.. be4 that happens manke a vid of the subs moving beyond xmech:veryhapp:

Sorry but I do not like the head in the center console. Why wouldn't you just use the factory deck with a clean sweep or 360? I dont know the model number on the Pioneer (I think) you put in there but i'm sure the factory deck would perform as well or better. As far as the rear of the car for install, I aint going there.
