I really can't belive this. I have been driving and smoking now for 4 years and I have been in 3 crashes. Never have i been high just drunk. When i'm high I don't get road rage. Maybe for other people who have no brains to begin with. And none of you can talk until you have true pot heads.

Perfect example..pot heads can't read!!! Who the HELL said anything about road rage. This is getting old. How irresponsible can you get??? 14 and 15 year olds are on this forum trying to learn about car audio and you IDIOTS are promoting drugs...I bet you thing that saying you crashed because you were drunk makes you look cool. Luck would have it nobody died. But thank god for my lawyers. But I will go to rehab for a long time. Still driving my 98 tahoe loaded with MB Quarts and smoking a least there will not be a chance of somone dieing. I have lived and learned. I am on here for car audio but nobody will answer my post. So i have nothing else to do but type away.

i just lost a car last year because some guy toked up and took his friends on a joyride.....he hit three other cars and then mine.....he buggered off and hit a building before the cops got him....luckily all cars hit were parked.......one more thing....to the guy who was braggin about not being stoned ,just drunk when he was in 3 crashes.....i lost a friend to a drunk driver you idiot!!!!!!!! i don't think anybody should respond to idiotic posts like this again no matter how mad it makes you.I hope i'm the last post to this subject

Your not the last. I have not lost a freind but I had a school assembly that change my view on drunk driving. I took a re-enactment of a crash with helicopters and police and fake blood but it did make me realize the impact it can have, when I saw somone being coverd up by sheets it really hit me hard. Listen I was young and dumb and thought I was just livin it up. If smoking keeps me away from drinking I do it forever

Ok guys this is first post and I think you in for it.

 

WHAT I HAVE

1. 98' Tahoe

2. Eclipse Head Unit

3. Phoenix Gold TI 575.4 running 2 sets of MB quart 6.5's

4. Phoenix Gold TI 400.2 Running 1 12" PWD Quart Just got this

5. 1 Farad cap

6. Sealed RED TOP Battery 0 gauge wire.

 

I already have door speakers set up and running. I need to set up the SUB, AMP, and CAP.

 

?

1. Should I use the cap for both amps or Just the sub amp?

2. Should I split the power wire with 2 blocks with 2 outlets or just 1 with 4 outlets?

3. Can I tap into the singnal wire to turn on both amps?

4. Should I ground the cap to the same spot under the rear seat were the 575.4 is grounded useing a block. Or sould I just ground the cap to the rear cargo area were the sub will be?

5. The CAP instructions say don't use blocks with fuses. Just a fuse by the battery is this true?

4. A cool place for the cap is a custom enclosure (well sort of) right between the door and the front window.

So if I go 2 and 2 it will still go from 0 gauge down to 8 gauge not any lower right? I thought I would have to go from 0,8, to maybe 10 if i used 2 and 2.

3. i mean the wire that turns on the amp the blue one. will i have to get a block for that.
