I know u guys are tired of me asking what would do better than the kicker L7 sub, but I need help trying to find something better than those spl wise. As a matter of a fact, away from kicker. Any suggestions??? 2 12" and I have a limit of $600. Thanx

You're probably not going to get much more output unless you step your power up. L7's are pretty loud in their class. Is the 1100d all that you have?

BTL, HD3, MT, DD 9500 series, etc...................

box construction plays a big part, electrical will have to be upgraded, i dont know what your trying to achieve but have you tried diffrent tuned boxes for your L7's

Maybe a single BTL, MT, or HD3 with the proper power supplied to it.

Well if you're wanting to step up from the L7's then take a peek into what people have already mentioned in this thread. However, you're going to need quite a bit more juice to run these subs.

more spl requires more power, not just different subs. but any of the above subs can get louder

You have one 12 in 4.8 cubes? If so, that's too big man. I have yet to put my 15 in something that big.

Your electrical system plays a major part in your system not to say its the only thing but you want to make sure you got plenty of flow to the amp, and to have secure and tight connections, be sure to have big enough wire, bigger alt is a plus, also the big three, extra battery will help when the alt doesnt produce enough current but i wouldnt just rely on a second better. the alt and battery kind of goes hand and hand.
