Broken re xxx lead...

teampsi can get them for you, or i have a few laying around.

its a tedious process, you have to carefully cut the dustcap off, heat up the solder attaching the tinsel to the voice coil lead, which is extremely fragile. if you bend the voice coil lead around too much, you'll break it off and be shit out of luck. once its off, soldering the tinsel to the coil lead, putting it through the hole in the cone, gluing the inside and outside of the hole, gluing the dustcap back on, cutting the tinsel to length and soldering it to the terminal isnt all that difficult, its just that one step you have to be extremely careful with.

yea get the lead from dave "teampsi". there is a easier fix though.

cut the lead 1/2" from the cone, then solder ur new lead to the old one. put a short piece of heat shrink tubing on the connection and warm (this is done just for looks). next turn ur sub cone down and glue the soldered part to the cone with goop glue. let that dry for a 1hr or so cut ur leads to length and solder to the terminal posts.

i have done this on alot of subs and they work great.
