Speakeasy.net then speed test. They have a huge amount of servers to choose from. Now I need to check my speed LOL. I'll have to do my work tomorrow, we have an oc3 at work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

and i checked, veriozon fios isnt offered around here yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ill have to stick with comcast, does anyone know if being wireless reduces your speed? I mean im running a linksys router with srx technology that is suppossed to be "fast" my router has 3 antennas on it as does my pc card, any idea?

i need to know whats a dam good wireless router //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Im using a linksys, very similar to

this one, the design has changed a bit but thats mine, and the card i use looks like this and the base has 3 antennas mounted to it, its a fast setup but i find the modem losses speed after a few days or a week and it needs to be restarted, like my previous post showed, but once restarted, its awesome, Id say go with anything from Linksys, I tried netgear(good for wired applications) but when i went wireless it just didnt work so I went with this router and Ive been about 6 houses down with my laptop and still got something like 97% full service, it was nuts, check those pages out and see if anything looks good for your application

I don't understand why people would EVER use wireless unless they have a laptop... or more than two desktops.

Even on my laptop, I plug in 99% in my apartment. When I'm on campus outside I'll use wireless.
