Not an 06'er.
This, in my opinion, is the greatest show on television. It aired on cartoon network at 1:30am every sunday, and just finished its last episode.
I seriously cannot express how that show can be so mind bendingly badass. Its like taking acid while you are already dreaming and then smoking dust while in a dream.
It's like the matrix meets fear and loathing. The thing about it is, it has such an insanely dense and intracate plotline, but you never see it as an overview--the viewer never is allowed to figure it all out. Slowly things are revealed in a seemingly nonsensical series of scenes that reveal the bigger picture.
In the original pilot that aired, during the end of the opening sequence, the title read "Oz.Mo" instead of 12 oz. mouse. This was supposedly meant to signify the fact that the show never showed you the "whole picture", but only such a small element of it that it made no sense (hence, "Oz.Mo" being a zoomed in picture of "12 Oz. Mouse").
They had to change the opening due to legal restrictions since there was a show in europse (or australia? I don't remember).
Still though, anyone else into this show?
If you see it once, its complete nonsense to the point that some people get literally pissed off with how nonsensical it is, but if you have always followed along with the story, it has a seriously deep and devious underbelly to the plot elements.
There are people that go so far as to analyze the significance of the art styles on the different characters.
What the **** am I even doing I am wasted. If anyone watches this show bump this thread with your thoughts I'm curious if its as obscure of a show as I feel like it is...........favorite show ever.
12 oz. for life!!!!!!!!!!!
