Because our wonderful neoconservative president has done so much for us the past seven years. I'm going to have to disagree with Audioholic. Either Obama or Clinton will win the Democratic nomination, and I will be very surprised if the Democrats don't win by a decent margin.

They already have socialized medicine and legal gay marriage, for example. But if you really think Bush and the rest of the Republicans are doing even a mediocre job, I can't say I'd be sad to see you go.
Big differnece. Although we're technically a blue state, there are plenty of gun-totin' rednecks to go around. Plus we have a lot of small-town farmers who vote Red. I'm not all against conservative views, but the current administration has gone too far.

I may have only been 13 at the time, but I'm pretty sure Clinton isn't the one who invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. Both Gulf Wars were started by Bushes. I highly doubt that's a coincidence, but that's beside the point.
Several countries use socialized medicine. Yes it has disadvantages, but it does work. Also, I somehow doubt that the tax increase would be more than what gets taken out of my dad's check every week for health insurance. Besides, if the government had to pay for everything, you bet your *** they'd make drug prices go down. While I can't say I know everything about the system, I can say that I support it over the current alternative. The Bush healthcare policy: don't get sick.
