Yep, I could care less about the Post reputation system, but like the idea of a transaction feedback system.
We should try it, but like I said, I don't see it happening. Just like Mike stated.

you must realize that this is the net... it's the chance you take. pretty much gambling. i know all about trading here. nothing new here. i've been a member here on and off since 2003. i think this forum in particular has gone too far. crazy mods and smart mouth bass-head young punks.
yes.... some people need to do something more constructive with their time rather than staring at a screen for hours and hours....

Rep systems are basically worthless unless every member uses it the way it was intended, and that never happens.

I think you guys are confusing two different systems.
1. Post Reputation system - Where you can give someone positive or negative reputation points based on a post they made. This is simply an option you turn on in vB and has been tried on the forum before. This won't really do anything for stopping scammers.

2. Transaction Feedback system (like iTrader) - This allows you to leave feedback for specific sales or purchases with a seller/buyer. This is an add-on you can install in vB. From past experience, it can be helpful as long as everyone uses it.

Transaction feedback system mentioned in 2. is what I'd like to see happen here. With all the money Goob is making from this site in hits per day alone, we've probably bought him enough for 2-3 waterfront homes by now.

do you realize how many thread there would be "help me ban person x" i dont know that the maturity level on ca.com is high enough to do that haha i think the current reporting system and leaving the discretion of the mods is good enough. i mean theres always the ignore button if you dont want to listen to someones comments.

to the OP. honestly most of those things you mentioned you are trying to accomplish with the rep system can be achieved with the search button. i mean we do have a feedback forum. if people just leave feedback about their sales then wed be just fine.

Agreed. This forum needs more mature members..........not a rep system that basically was about popularity. Nothing constructive came from the last rep system as it was just abused by a choice few members on the forum that act like children.
