ive always agreed with a rep system, and think it would be great. Kinda a easy way for noobs to see feedback since they never fcking search. However, its been mentioned before and i doubt it will ever happen.

It can all easily be done with a few code upgrades. Basically add the old rep system, with restrictions on posts in the buyer/seller feedback section with a limit of one rep per thread, not per post. The only question is if the forum software is capable of doing it without a complete overhaul. Would any of the mods on here know for sure?

do you realize how many thread there would be "help me ban person x" i dont know that the maturity level on ca.com is high enough to do that haha i think the current reporting system and leaving the discretion of the mods is good enough. i mean theres always the ignore button if you dont want to listen to someones comments.

to the OP. honestly most of those things you mentioned you are trying to accomplish with the rep system can be achieved with the search button. i mean we do have a feedback forum. if people just leave feedback about their sales then wed be just fine.

seeing that you only have 67 posts you must not realize the major business that is conducted on this site. honestly id be interested to know how much money is exchanged per day/week in our classifieds. its a good amt of money. i mean its not like hes requesting this system just so we know whos cool and whos not haha then id agree that some people take it too seriously

but as long as everyone would just participate in the feedback thread it wouldnt be a problem.
