seeing that you only have 67 posts you must not realize the major business that is conducted on this site. honestly id be interested to know how much money is exchanged per day/week in our classifieds. its a good amt of money. i mean its not like hes requesting this system just so we know whos cool and whos not haha then id agree that some people take it too seriously
but as long as everyone would just participate in the feedback thread it wouldnt be a problem.

you must realize that this is the net... it's the chance you take. pretty much gambling. i know all about trading here. nothing new here. i've been a member here on and off since 2003. i think this forum in particular has gone too far. crazy mods and smart mouth bass-head young punks.

yes.... some people need to do something more constructive with their time rather than staring at a screen for hours and hours....

ok, so if you have such a life why are you staring at a screen at 4am? honestly if you think the forum has gone too far then why are you here? all the OP is suggesting is a feedback system like ebay has. are they "taking things way too seriously" too? though i dont think what the OP is suggesting would work, and its just adding onto the system that is in place that if it was used would suffice, hes just trying to start dialogue about how to make buying and selling on here a little more safe.

i just think you enjoy trying to make fun of people that spend time on the internet when in fact you are just as bad if ur here enough to notice and choose to make fun.... right? young punks haha since ur 27 should we all be calling you gramps and listening to your aged wisdom haha wow. couple more years and youll be calling everyone whipper snappers.

I also agree with Krunchy to an extent.

When I am at home, I rarely get on here unless I have business going on in the classifieds. Majority of my posts come from work because I have nothing but down time most days. So this is just my escape to make my work days go by faster.

So Rim, don't get so bent out of shape. If you are, you must be spending to much time at a screen and just because he is on one night for a couple hours, don't mean he is always on, lol!

I think you guys are confusing two different systems.

1. Post Reputation system - Where you can give someone positive or negative reputation points based on a post they made. This is simply an option you turn on in vB and has been tried on the forum before. This won't really do anything for stopping scammers.

2. Transaction Feedback system (like iTrader) - This allows you to leave feedback for specific sales or purchases with a seller/buyer. This is an add-on you can install in vB. From past experience, it can be helpful as long as everyone uses it.

Yep, I could care less about the Post reputation system, but like the idea of a transaction feedback system.

We should try it, but like I said, I don't see it happening. Just like Mike stated.
