Bridging Ohm/Wattage Question

Hey guys, first post here.

I have an old Coustic AMP400S that I am temporarily using to power a 12" Memphis Power Reference sub. The power specs in the manual are listed like this:

RMS per channel @ 4 ohms (=

RMS per channel @ 2 ohms (=

RMS bridged channels @ 4 ohms (=

Maximum Input Signal: 5V

Does this mean if I bridge the channels at 2 ohms I will get 400 Watts? Is that safe to do?

Also, I have a Clarion EQS746 equalizer that outputs a max of 7v which is feeding both of my amps. My Alpine has shows "Input Sensitivity" for RCA inputs to be 0.2-4.0V, and the Coustic says Max Input Signal 5V. Does this mean I have to be careful how much power I let the EQS746 send to them?

Thank you for the help!
