bridging amp - rca problem

I am trying to bridge my amp to power my component system and am having trouble with the rca cables. Do i use 2 pair of rca cables that connects from the front and rear outputs of my headunit to the front and rear inputs of my headunit? I read on this forum about people using splitters to bridge their amps. I wonder if i have to do this or not and how to do it. BTW i have a Diamond D3 400.4 amp.

Hoping I am answering this correctly based on the info.

Bridging a 4 channel amp to a 2 channel amp only requires

1 set of RCA's to be run to the amp.

it was that hard to understand? so what do i do with the one set of rca cable? do i connect them from the front output of my headunit to the front input of my amp?

It does not matter which set you choose on the head unit, just

decide how you want your fader to work. On the amp, you have

to read the manual, cause I'm not sure, amps are different.

1 rca for each channel, usually the fronts. That is if you have 2 channel input mode

yes, because it says "2 chl in" under those inputs.

one pair of RCA's that consists of a left and a right channel, usually

stuck together, yes. Thats all any two channel amp needs; even if
