Bridging a Jl 8w0

Ok i am hookin up a jl 8w0 to a alpine flex2, here is the specs of the amp:Specifications

RMS Power (at 14.4V,20Hz-20kHz)

Per channel into 4 ohms- 40W x 2 (0.08% THD)

Per channel into 2 ohms- 60W x 2 (0.3% THD)

Bridged 4 ohms- 120W x 1 (0.3% THD)

The sub is a svc, 4 ohm. The amp has 2 sets of + and - . Im sure this is an easy answer, but i never really understood wiring all that well. the + of one channel and the - of the other channel hooked up to the sub. That would give you the 120watts.

Well, usually amp speaker terminals look like + - + - OR - + - +, either way only correction i'd make is use the VERY outer two terminals...so the outside + and the outside -, that's bridged on most amps. BTW, you can't "bridge" a sub, you can bridge the amp... just keepin ya up on terminology. peace

Hook it up to the outer plus and out minus! Simple...lol
