Bridging a 4 chan amp, have a couple of questions.

Can you bridge a four channel amp down to 2 channels and run 1 channel to each coil on a DVC sub? Or would you be playing two different channels to the coils

Or could I bridge to one channel? Is that possible?

Yes

Rarely is subbass material recorded in stereo

Not on most amps.
