They were pretty inexpensive. I paid $640 shipped for all three from Woofersetc.com. I was going to wait until I opened my store to buy them, but I need to start building a demo car ASAP so it can be ready.

Yeah, I was pretty happy with the cost, it's not too far above dealer pricing. I think the 2000D is a particularly good deal for 2k watts under $400 shipped.

Im sold on the looks but how do they preform

how did they end up working out for you. Im wondering about heat issues on that 2000 up there, everything looks kinda cramped together on that board

That was only on a few of the 02 Picasso models I believe. This is 100% Soundstream. No other amps are sharing these boards.

Is that good or bad, im really considering those amps I linked above as well as the mono he posted here but for the price I know Hifonics gives good products in the same range, but they dont look that good and have the lights and whatnot, these are nice and sleek BUT Ill stick with hifonics as a budget amp if they wont preform as good if not better

Epsilon bought Soundstream recently, hopefully they will keep the same Soundstream formula. Epsilon = Power Acoustik.

I also had seen that PA bought out Memphis too. Im not sure though.

That class D looks juicy! But the other two are nothing like my last good SS's My VGA's were very clean with lots of power. I did not care for the later stuff. I hope yours are good.

If you want a good line? look into Crossfire. I went from Zapco~LinearPower~SoundStream and now Crossfire. After using Crossfire for the last few years, I must say that over all there the best amps I've used for the money.

PCX 2000D is the same board as a Kole Audio Q1-3000D/Power Acoustik A3000dB/Planet Audio VX2200D.

The others look similar to other amps i have seen. I'm checking on it now.

I've been cautious of Soundstream ever since a buddy of mine had two of them (one and then the replacement one) switch currents and nearly fry a set of K2P components.
