I have 2 new alpine type r's and people tell me to break them in first for like a month and online some people say you do and some say you dont. If you do have to break them in how many watts should i run to each sub and how long do i have to break them in for? Thanks

DEPENDS on the sub model I reackon... spl subs need to be broken in if you wanna get the most out of them (spiders loosen up and become less tight)

How long should i break them in for and how much power should i put to them?

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

If they had an orange basket I would have to buy them.... Hmmmm Sell my 4 Xs and get 6 of those and do no-wall again with one more 4500.....

That’s the little single 6.5 inch enclosure. The Savard did just as well as the RDS. These subs do well in ported or 6th orders but not as well...
