Breaking in a sub on a home stereo?

I'm assuming its not even in an enclosure. You're probably not even giving it a true 50watts, so no, it pretty much won't do anything. Shouldn't hurt it, but you're wasting your time.

Is it sealed or ported? Also, why so worried about breaking in the sub? Its gonna happen, might as well enjoy it properly.
