Brazilian amp decision, need opinions please

any good deal on taramps, soundigital, banda or even stetsom as said and you'll be happyive noticed they lack the same internal capacitance as koreans and LOVE a strong power supply. adding a bank of caps alone makes any brazilian significantly louder

Thats extremely promising. Maybe 160 is in range when i do an electrical overhaul.

dont expect miracles if your voltage drop isnt bad, but when the current draw peaks out and you cant support it there's a very noticeable difference in loudness when you add caps - to me anyway

IF using for bass, suggest sticking to bass line when choosing Taramps.

I do not know why you cannot find anything under bass 15k when the bass 15k isnt even out yet and the first bass amps in that line were the bass 400 and the bass 12k.

Then why did u suggest I get two hd 15ks? And not two bass 12ks? Just wondering

Because they are much cheaper than bass 12k.

The context of this thread is user is looking at DSP amps over bass line.. I wouldnt use DSP amps for bass but then again.. I wouldnt use the bass 12k on that 1 sub either unless plan on adding more subs in the future.

The new HD8000s to HD15000 are good for bass now but we have already publicly stated that once the bass models start to come in that are equal in rated output to the HD line, we will drop those HD models from stock.

We can still sell any amplifier even if we do not stock it, it will just take an extra 3-5 days to special order them before we ship back out.

About 90% of all customers and dealers that have moved amps this year over 10kw from Taramps have chose hd15000 over bass12k because of price mainly and have been satisfied.

Those who are running the bass 12ks typically are running well under 1ohm and are satisfied. They feel more comfortable abusing the bass line over the HD line.

Yea I wasn't going to get a 12k or a 15k on one sub. I was looking at the 3k. I have seen you and other people say not to use for bass. I don't remember why, what was the reason again?

I just want something small that doesn't cost a fortune and can do 2k plus

Years ago, thats all they had so a list of things need to be known and played within a certain guideline when using for subwoofers and should be good to go.

When they make lines specifically for bass or revised versions of amplifiers that are more durable for subwoofer use, we suggest those over anything previously available.

Well hopefully u get the hd 15ks in stock soon so I can be bangin again. I know u said something about they will be after slamology.

taramps specifically. A lot of brazilians are behind on technology compared to taramps.

the are basically all so similar you won't notice a difference unless you abuse them. run them at rated impedance and you will be fine..

The price is just too hard to pass up. Had to give it a shot. I'll do a review, should get it tomorrow.
