Zapco feels pretty prideful about their name. Im not surprised based on pricing... im sure theyd charge way more for korean amps than what the st line runs

There's nothing wrong with the STs. Just cheap. They do what they say.

ST-4X SQ made the cut for the highest rated group of amplifiers in Matt Hall's Spring 2017 High Value Amplifier Shootout.

Country of origin for amplifiers is not very insightful yet a lot of people perpetuate this myth.

Which one is going to fail first?

Simply put, Zenon and s&i amps are better than these ST amps.

Zapco used to make some of the best amps in the industry. Their higher lines are still good... but this is like calling RF Prime an amazing line

You are kool. According to your signature you have the ST-1650MX II amplifier and it's wired within the range of rated impedance for safe operation.
