Do you happen to be using a line driver that goes above 6v?

I was lookin at your posts trying to figure it out, what headunit are you using? is it an older eclipse with a high voltage output?

i sell the stinger line

they have rca 20ft that are $20 an also 20ft at $150

i can't hear a difference , so i aint gonna pay the difference

Gain is set at 1/2 way up. Bass boost all the way down cuz I don't really need it.
I know it says recommended 1/0 gauge, but I was tight on money back then so I had to settle for a 2/0 awg.

No doubt i'm going to re-wire my system to 1/0awg all around, it just a matter of time.

i'll try new RCA's. Because if they worked before..why wouldn't it work again? but its worth a shot

I really doubt lower voltage or ohm load is an issue. I ran my saz3000d @.5 saw voltage down to 11.8 Never not once went into protect.

Maybe when you turn it up the bass is rattling something and causing a short somewhere?

If its happening when he turns it up a certain level, I'm thinking he is giving the amp more signal than it can handle- Which is why i asked if he has a line driver or a eclipse unit that gives 8 volts or more.

2 awg wire can handle up to 2000 watts just fine. He'd be blowing fuses if the wire was too small.

2 ga is fine for one SAZ-1500.

.5 ohm on my 3000 as well no issues on that
