Brahma setup

Alright this all depends on what you want to do, if you want to impress the townies around here you just need one, but if you feel the need for launching pennies into orbit get 2 or 4. No matter what size just run them at 1 ohm. So just get JBL 1200.1's. No problems there.

So for you I would suggest 4 15's and each one having a seperate JBL

i believe that fits the category of ridiculous $$$$$. A 15 cost $429 and a JBL costs $280 (cheapest i could find) That comes to a total of $2836. Thats more expensive then half the cars people drive at my school. I believe I am going to be very satisfied with 1 15 and 1 JBL when it comes!!

Oh money isn't a problem in his case. We come from the same boat. We save and then buy, not come one here and say we have a limited budget. But yeah I can see how 4 is too much but then again I'm not the kind of person that wants to upgrade my system every year or so.

Plus I need to have SOME competition at the local car show next year. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well you just wait to say who's greatful. I don't see opening a shop in your future aspirations.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :p //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

get 1 15, or even 2 if you can afford it..

or 2 12's....

wahtever... 1 JBL per would be wicked awesome... you can get the JBL for 250 bucks, oat broadwaycomputer.com and ikesound will match that price, so find that amp on broadway, double chek that price and let ikesound know, they will give ya free shipping no less...

Originally posted by XtremeBass I've listened to them twice now and im TOTALLY HOOKED. I just wanted an opinion of a config of amps, speaker size, and quantity.

Don't go by price either, but be reasonable.
Varies by user desire really.

I'd suggest you try a single drive unit before heading on to multiples, at least then you'll know if you want more. Remember, you can always buy MORE and have not lost money, but if you end up selling one off after it is used, you'll likely take a small loss.

As for amps, anything that produces 1kW cleanly, should be plenty.
