I'm gonna recone my 12's to 15's (have 2 of them). Just wondering what type of enclosures I can play with. It will be going in an '01 Accord and I can do approx 5.5 cubes net (this is the largest I can go with the additional items in my trunk).

First question: For ported, how much space would I need?

Second question: For sealed, how much space would I need?

Also, I am not looking to compete. This will be used for daily driving, I'm wanting to get fairly loud though. I have an RF T30001bd to play with so power is no issue.

i remember running my 15 brahma in a 3cuft @ 28hz. great low end. and I believe sealed should be around ~2cuft.

they were mkIIs.

edit: ^^^those are good recommendations too

I would suggest you go sealed for both of them.

why sealed over ported? just curious? i have a 12" mkii at hand right now, the mki is at a friends house. i have two sealed enclosures to work with and a ported to test out, which hopefully ill get to today if i can finish installing my additional battery and processor.

I've ran PLENTY of different brahma's and for your accord (with the power you have), go sealed! You don't have nearly enough space for them ported. I've done 1 sealed, 1 ported, 2 sealed and 2 ported.... Had 2 ported with 2 cubes of airspace each (I know, WAY to small) and the 2 sealed (same power) at 2.5 cubes each was WAY louder AND lower...not even close. Did 2 ported right, same power, 3.8 cubes each and that slaughtered the 2 sealed!!! But with your space, I'd def. do 2 sealed. They'll get MORE than loud enough for daily driving!
