well. my 2nd brahma is finally being fixed by a local speaker repair shop

(bastards should be done with it soon, it was supposed to be done last week)

and now i need to build a box for the pair.

the goal is wickedly loud in the 30-40hz range.

i was thinkin about...

9 cubes, 3 - 6'' aeroports, tuned to 30hz.

too big?

EDIT: btw, the box is for 2 - 15'' brahma MKII's...if ya didnt already catch that

Three 6's will be fine. Some people forget that the flare on the port reduces port noise considerably and more port area isn't needed. On one of my boxes, it used one 6" flare for my TSS 15" sub and about 1300 watts, no port noise what-so-ever.

i suggested that purely for spl purposes.
i have use 2 4" precision port for my B15 and it was probably the best box i ever had for it.

i was thinkin that the 3 - 6'' would be about equivalent to 3- 4'' per brahma, so that sounded good to me.

if i did 4'', they would need to be really long.

i may try a slot-port box for em, i havent quite decided yet.
